The Mozambican Network of Human Rights Defenders (RMDDH) warns of an extremely serious situation involving the wife of human rights defender Mano Shottas.
On Monday, June 16, 2025, around 6 PM, the widow received an anonymous call from a private number, threatening her not to return to her home under penalty of death. Faced with this threat, she was forced to leave her house with her minor daughter and seek refuge in an unknown location.
