Senega Afarso Darraão a 25 years old RENAMO member was abducted by the Mozambican Police around 6 pm on 23th September on the street Leitao Marque
At the time one of the three kidnappers with a cell phone that was always in communication at the time of the kidnapping Senega was forced to reveal the names of his colleagues
“ They asked him for the names of the colleagues he was working with to broadcast live videos of the RENAMO marches. They asked him for the names of the colleagues he worked with whom were broadcasting live video of the RENAMO marches, the location of their homes, whether they had security, the actual location at the electoral register reports and minutes, whether the registers were at the Delegate Latino’s nom and if he had security at home, whether the electoral registers and minutes were at the Mar or Mana de Araujo’s(MA) residence, when Manuel De Araujo would came to Quelimane, who compiles u group’s media information and location, they threatened to kill his mother and his colleagues if didn’t give them this information, he was tied up, harassed and death threatened with him with pistol, and then they put a 20 bill in his pocket.”
De Araujo added that “It should be noted that when the kidnappers first approached him on the street, they first asked tin to help them find some information on WhatsApp. He was then surrounded by three armed men an taken into s black Tayota Noha, where he was blindfolded, a cloth was placed in his mouth and he was tied up with an electric cable!”
